Product details

Bred by the well known Rivers Nursery in Hertfordshire in the 1860s, this edible cherry produces dark red fruits by July. Buying cherries from the supermarket can be so expensive to getting them from your own tree may be a better option. Classified as fruit, this tree has no VAT attributed to it.

White flowers in the spring add to the general interest and this round headed tree thrives in most free draining soils. It is always beneficial to keep competition away from its base and to top dress with a general purpose fertilizer each spring to enhance fruiting.

Mature height: 3-7m

Mature spread: 2-4m
