Description

Acer palmatum Bloodgood is a clone of Japanese Maple which won the Award of Garden merit in 2002.

Recognised as one of the best clones of its type it also produces beautiful red fruits and is particularly hardy even in the coldest of winters.

We grow this as a full standard tree with a rounded crown so it is best suited for gardens and parks.

Like most Japanese Maples it thrives on most soils but prefers it to be moist and well drained.
