Description
A wonderful choice for heavily polluted environments prone to vandalism.
Introduced from America in 1700, its seed pods hold a sticky sweet resin from which it derives its common name.
This large, oval and rather elegant tree has leaves which resemble fronds. When mature, it looks most striking with its shiny, long seed pods.
A good choice for parks and industrial areas, it does well in most soils. Be careful on handling this tree as it is very thorny!
