Product details

This unban clone has been bred in the USA for its form: it grows half as wide as it does tall.

Gleditsia can be a rather messy looking tree but this clone is far more suitable for the urban street scene and large garden.

Mostly thornless, the leaves are darker green than Skyline and turn the same vivid yellow in the autumn.

Thriving on most soils, this tough tree was discovered just outside New York by Tom Draves who monitored it for twenty years before releasing the clone into commercial production.

Mature height: 12-17m

Mature spread: 5-7m
