Description
This American clone is both thornless and near fruitless as well as being very cold tolerant. Its lime green leaves turn a remarkable showy yellow in the autumn and its pyramidal habit makes it a genuinely robust urban tree.
It is not best suited on heavier soils but thrives on well drained ones and usefully it is very tolerant of drought once established. It also copes well with reflected heat and light bouncing off pavements and buildings making it a fine prospect for inner city planting.
