Description
The original plant in the States as about 7 metres high and wide and produces magnificent clear yellow flowers contrasting against red inners that last sometimes as long as two months without fading.
It is all the more beautiful for being winter flowering.
It is a lovely maintenance free plant best suited for gardens and parkland borders.
Hamamelis is best suited to well drained, fertile soils but it's best to avoid chalk and soil that will tend to get waterlogged.
