Known as Horned Holly or more commonly Chinese Holly, this lush evergreen shrub can make a small tree in time and if left to its own devices.
Most often used as a hedging plant, Ilex cornuta provides a very dense screen, ideal for gardens.
Thriving on most free draining soils, its shy white flowers give way to nicely sized red fruits by the autumn for the birds to enjoy.
