From the same stable as the better known clone ‘Skyrocket’ this very upright conifer is ideal for small gardens.
It was introduced in the 1980s and is an improved form with intense blue foliage and wonderful ‘pencil’ habit.
I’ve always had a problem with Skyrocket as it starts off lovely but gets grottier with age and sparse at its base. Blue Arrow is definitely the way to go.
Thriving on any well drained fertile soils this family of Junipers originated from the Rocky Mountains of the USA.
Mature height: 3-5m
Mature spread: 2-4m
