A superb and well known cooking apple that produces large green fruits. It has been in cultivation for over 200 years and many a house buyer inherits one with their new purchase as it had been widely planted during this period.
The Bramley Seedling is triploid, meaning it will need two other apples nearby to act as pollinaters.
The original tree resides in Nottinghamshire, it grew from pips planted by Mary Ann Brailsford as a child in the early 1800s.
