Description
Like all crab apples it favours heavier soils and is far more tolerant of wet conditions than flowering cherries that are more specific to free draining soils.
An abundance of yellow fruits appear in the autumn and are marble sized with a slight orange blush. This is a great tree for bees in the spring and birds in the autumn. Who needs a bird feeder when you have one of these in your garden?!
