Product details

An upright crab bred in Canada in the early 1950s.

The foliage is so dark it is always canny not to overdo the numbers on this one.

A dark foliaged tree always focuses the eye in a landscape so too many can make a garden quite dark.

Its ascending branches give Royalty a broadly upright form.

A small tree it has shiny rich purple foliage which turns a vivid red in autumn.

Large purple-crimson flowers give rise to dark red fruits.

Like most crabs this is suitable for parks and gardens.

If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees.

Mature height: 3-7m

Mature spread: 3-5m
