Product details

The crowns have been grown within a flat 1.2m wide by 1m high frame and the trees have a clear trunk of 1.8 metres.

These trees are perfect for achieving screening above fence height without taking up room in a garden where space is at a premium.

Clipped to shape each spring, they form a wonderful architectural barrier that restricts views from overlooking windows!

The foliage of this tree is bright green and ridged, similar to that of the Common Hornbeam, Carpinus betulus. In the spring it produces an interesting display of yellow-green catkins coupled with the creamy white flowers resembling hops from whence it gets its name.
