Description

The nation’s favourite eating plum, grown on a semi dwarfing stock here at Barcham as a full standard.

The small white flowers that emerge in the spring are superseded by good sized red blushed fruits that beckon to us, birds and insects alike.

Our despatch teams tend to gorge themselves with the plums prior to autumn delivery so don’t be surprised to take delivery of baron plants!

Nutritious free draining soils free from grass competition within a metre radius from the trunk provide best results for your fruiting harvest.

Mature height: 3-7m

Mature spread: 3-5m
