Description

This man-made tree has its uses in urban environments where space is limited.

Small white flowers in spring are replaced by a dense canopy of small vivid green leaves that turn a glorious orange / red in the autumn.

A top worked dwarfing clone which forms a compact and rounded crown.

Budded onto Colt rootstock, Prunus avium is used as the inter-stock with fruticosa Globosa top grafted to form the crown.

The avium inter-stock gives the height while the Colt rootstock prevents pavement heave.

It requires virtually no maintenance and is an admirable urban tree.

Mature height: 3-7m

Mature spread: 2-4m
