Description

This clone of Bird Cherry has been cultivated since the 1900s and is probably the best clone for urban plantings where space is more restricted.

The crown is very ascending when young before developing into an oval to rounded shape at maturity.

A rather good choice for garden street and verge planting this very free flowering form has an excellent track record for requiring little maintenance.

It thrives on most soils but is best suited to free draining sites.
