Description
This cross between Pyracantha angustifolia and Pyracantha watereri is usually grown as a shrub but can be grafted to make this attractive tree.
Native to a wide area extending from southwest Europe to southeast Asia this small evergreen grows up to 7m forming quite an irregular, dense habit.
Masses of white flowers borne in early summer, resemble hawthorn, these are followed by dense clusters of orange/red berries.
Tolerant of pollution, exposure and coastal conditions accompanied with being very disease resistant this makes for an ideal tree for the various locations.
