Description
This male clone has been planted extensively in the Netherlands where it was selected in the late 1960s.
As with all willows it reacts well to pruning if its ultimate size is too much to handle and this work is best undertaken in the winter months.
This vigorous tree has upright branches which form a narrow conical tree.
The slender silvery green leaves turn clear yellow in autumn.
It does particularly well in wet soils and is suited to coastal areas.
Mature height: 20m+
