Description

As trees derived from seed grown Sorbus aucuparia are genetically unique they can be quite variable in habit so if it is uniformity you are after this clone fits the bill.

Otherwise it does everything you would expect of our native rowan and requires little or no maintenance.

A strong and fast growing tree Rossica Major forms a broadly oval crown.

Its dark green leaves are attached by red stalks and it bears its dark red berries from August onwards.

A good choice for both urban areas and rural gardens.

Mature height: 7-12m

Mature spread; 4-8m
