This cultivar of the American Lime is of garden origin and came from Plumfield Nurseries Nebraska USA in 1927.
It was originally listed under Tilia euchlora but is distinctly different.
It is still little known and used in the UK but should not be overlooked.
A pyramidal tree of medium size this cultivar is barely sensitive to aphids and the associated “dripping” which makes it an ideal lime for street and avenue plantings.
