Product details
Ulmus Vada 'Wanoux' is a medium-sized Dutch hybrid elm derived from a cross between the Siberian elm (Ulmus pumila) and the European elm (Ulmus minor). Known for its vigorous growth, it begins with a conical to columnar shape and matures into a graceful oval crown, reaching a height of 10 to 12 meters.
The tree’s broad, dark green leaves provide a dense canopy in spring and summer. In autumn, the foliage takes on a warm brown-yellow hue, offering seasonal appeal. From March to April, it produces clusters of small green flowers that enhance its ornamental value.
Thriving in most soils, this tree is highly adaptable. It demonstrates some resistance to Dutch Elm Disease and is well-suited to withstand winds, including coastal conditions. Its elegant shape and resilience make it an excellent choice for use as a street tree or in various landscape settings.
