    Raised at the famous Exbury Gardens in the early 1930s this versatile small tree won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002 and 1933 as well as the First Class Certificate in 1936. 
It is a particularly useful tree for stilted semi evergreen screening in small gardens where privacy is needed.
Cotoneaster cornubia is a tough tree and will tolerate most soil conditions. It is a welcome addition to any planting scheme which aims to achieve some autumn and winter interest with higher level screening.
